Activities In and Around Mannford

Water Sports
Keystone Lake offers a wide variety of water sports. From swim beaches to full service marinas, Keystone Lake is a great destination for water sports. The marina offers pontoon and fishing boat rentals as well as jet ski and paddle boat rentals. You can also find fuel, tackle and snacks at the marina. The lake is a popular destination for wake boarding, water skiing and tubing. The numerous swim beaches feature sandy beaches and beautiful views.

Fishing
Keystone Lake is noted for its striped bass, sand bass, black bass, lake strain small mouth bass, crappie, and catfish. Downstream fisheries are accessible from Whitewater and Brush Creek Parks. Swift Park (a day use Tulsa County Park) provides boat access to the Arkansas River below the lake when water levels are adequate. There is also a children’s fishing pond for the young anglers.

Camping
Three different campground areas on Lake Keystone open year round provide over 150 campsites from primitive camping to full electric, water and sewer hookups, 40 full hookups, 10 pull-throughs. Five group picnic pavilions are available for public rental. Picnic tables and grills are scattered throughout the park for day use.

Outdoor Activities
Keystone Lake Park has comfort stations and shelters available as well as picnic areas with grills, playgrounds, hiking trails, equestrian trails, bicycle trails (rentals available), swimming areas, a children's fishing pond, park office with area information, restaurants, marina with boat rentals, cabins with fully-equipped kitchens and a grocery store.

All Terrain Vehicle Facilities
Appalachia Bay is located on Keystone Lake. This 600 acre area is maintained by the Corps of Engineers and many of the locals refer to this area as Motorcycle Island. The terrain is sandy and ranges from open beaches to wooded trails. Moderate elevation changes keep the wooded areas interesting, and a large circuit of sandy trails meanders through briers. White Water Park is another riding area on Lake Keystone, it is located right next to the dam. It is only about 80 acres, mostly sand and closed while bald eagles visit the area.

Bald Eagle Nesting
Oklahoma is one of the top ten states for bald eagle viewing from November through March. During this time, the 80 acre White Water Park is closed while bald eagles visit the area. For the opportunity to view the majestic bald eagle in person, join in on the annual Eagle Watch. The Eagle Watch is two weekend days each January where Tulsa Audubon members furnish spotting scopes, binoculars, information on the eagles of Oklahoma and answer questions regarding eagles. For more information contact the Tulsa Audubon Society.

Keystone Public Hunting Area
The area covers approximately 15,500 acres and lies along much of the Keystone Lake shoreline which consists of bottom land timber and post oak, blackjack and prairie fields. Principal wildlife include squirrel, rabbit, quail, dove and waterfowl.
